Morgan Monroe MKAB-500

I made this baritone out of a Morgan Monroe MKAB-500, serial number 0031. It ranks among my better sounding guitars. It has a few dings on it, most noticeable are the chip in the sound hole and another ding under 6th string – both are visible in the pictures. The bridge was cracked when I got it but I have repaired it. There is a little discoloration in the wood of bass side of the lower bout – just barely visible in the side picture. There is also some belt rash on the back, treble side of the lower bout by the binding and a little more up by the top of the back – visible on the back picture. These minor cosmetic things aside, this is beautiful and great sounding guitar. It is sort of antique-y looking and the flaws actually don’t seem to detract from the guitar in the way they normally would. The action is very low and I finished it off with a sound port and gold and chrome hardware. I am selling it on eBay with its factory hard case in very good shape with built in hygrometer for $550. I can ship both internationally to any country with a 108 inch length + girth limit. Sold - Thanks Joe!
